Debra’s lifelong passion for astrology was ignited when she was 16 years old and read Sun Signs by Linda Goodman. A self-taught astrologer, Debra briefly put her practice aside to pursue a law degree. When the 2008 market crash brought her career as an attorney to a halt, she turned to astrology to earn a living.
In doing so, she helped pave the way for today’s astrology podcasts when she launched Anchored in Astrology, (2008-2012), a live internet radio show that aired weekly to an international audience and featured astrology lessons, interviews with spiritual luminaries and no-prep readings for live callers. Today, she continues to share her astrological wisdom with listeners through her Shortcut to the Soul Astrology podcast, as well as through classes and workshops.
Debra’s love for teaching, together with her desire to pass her proven astrological methods down to future generations, inspired her to create her the Pass the Torch Astrology Mentoring Program, an in-depth training program where she teaches her astrological process to aspiring astrologers and helps them build a successful practice.
Although Debra has been a psychic-medium since birth, she didn’t embrace her gift until later in life because prior to that time, many of her experiences with the other side were terrifying.
However, just as she was destined to rediscover her astrological calling, fate stepped in and she embarked on a spiritual journey that dissolved her fears, allowed her gifts to blossom and enabled her to serve Spirit as her soul intended.
She feels blessed by every client, honored by every spirit and is thankful for every opportunity to deliver messages from loved ones, including beloved pets, that provide comfort, healing and peace to those who need it.
Through her Developing Your Spiritual Gifts program, Debra teaches others how to identify and develop their own intuitive gifts.
As part of her own healing journey, Debra studied a number of new thought philosophies connected to the mind-body-spirit connection. After a life-changing experience using the thought processes and manifestation techniques outlined in Louise L. Hay’s book, You Can Heal Your Life, she enrolled in a training program became a certified and licensed Heal Your Life® Teacher in 2002.
Debra currently incorporates these powerful principles into her spiritual coaching practice to help clients overcome prosperity inhibitors in the birth chart and work with the astrological cycles that can supercharge their manifesting efforts.
Guided to study holistic healing, Debra became a Reiki Master Teacher in 2017 and recently earned a certificate for Advanced Energy Development and Healing (Spring Forest Qi Gong Healing Level 3).
