What does the nodal shift into Taurus and Scorpio represent, and more importantly, how is it likely to influence you?
Note: There are two ways to calculate the transiting nodes (neither one is exact). If you use the mean node, then the transiting nodes moved into Taurus and Scorpio on December 22, but if like me, you use the true node, that shift occurs on January 18, 2022.
Since Taurus and Scorpio represent two very distinct types of tangible and intangible resources, that’s where we can expect the shift to occur.
On the tangible side, Taurus rules the money and possessions we personally earn and acquire through our salary and shopping sprees, while Scorpio rules money and possessions that come to us from others via gifts, inheritances, direct payments, stimulus checks, mortgage money and credit lines.
As for intangible resources, Taurus rules our personal values, while Scorpio rules the time and support that other people give us.
Collectively speaking, since the south node represents what we need to release, we can expect a shift in our thinking where we move away from the shadow side of Scorpio, which is our reliance on other people’s resources and the power that dependency gives them over our lives.
In contrast, the north node speaks to where we’re headed, so with the shift into Taurus we can expect to become more aware of our personal values and leverage our personal productivity to achieve financial independence.
If we do, we’ll be ready and able to blaze a new path when the north node moves into Aries.
